Kirriemuir Railway Station

Like many towns across the country Kirriemuir had a railway station which was a branch off the main Perth to Aberdeen via Forfar line.

It closed to passengers in 1952 and to freight in 1965 and the station was demolished to be replaced by the Marywell Gardens council housing development. One platform does remain though.
